3 Months
This might be my favorite baby age. Orion 's latest habits include finding fists, making smiles, giggling when you pull a shirt over his head, screaming inconsolably if he can't get himself to sleep in the afternoon, and looking at the world. The world's looking back at you, kid, and saying you're the cutest baby it has ever seen.

First Hike and First (photographed) Gleeful Countenance
ahh, our first hike with Orion, where we heard birds, babbling brooks, UFO frogs, and met friendly dogs and another 9-week-old baby with a full head of red hair. This was about a month ago, at the first signs of spring, in Guilford.

For one of those "inspirational" posters: Lo, even the seedling can conquer boulders, if it puts its little green mind to it.
Here's little O blowing bubbles, looking jaunty, showing off dimples
And yes, I finally (April 7) caught Orion's wide, infectious, open-mouthed, joyous, the-world-is-great! smile on camera. Enjoy!

Here's Orion, newly Blessed, with Henry in their matching car seats. Thanks Carlo and Becca!

Compare this hippie child to the 2 week old picture. Orion has definitely been eating. His favorite food is 'ilk'.

Yes, 8 weeks is different from 2 months. Plus, here he is in the sweater that was made for his father 3 decades ago; which is why I chose to bless him in that rather than in a long satin gown.
Hey Baby Bear! This one is for Becca Ll.
Buona Fish of April, ragazzi!

6 and 7 weeks
What has our little boy been up to lately?
Growing bigger and older by the day
wearing green (and blue stripes)
and demonstrating the "archer pose" of Orion the hunter
yippee for number 7!
the favorite ducky pacifier ("another one bites the duck")
greetings from our first Easter. Maybe next year we'll do eggy things.
...and going places, on our daily vitamin D outings with Mama.
